Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children with communication disorders. You will develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work closely with families to support children’s communication development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication disorders
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid California state license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience
  • Experience with diverse pediatric communication disorders
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques

  • Reliable transportation for travel between assignments
