Lucas's Autism Journey

Applied Behavior Analysis & Speech Therapy | Age 8
“When Lucas was diagnosed with autism at age 3, we were overwhelmed and didn’t know where to turn. The comprehensive approach from the therapy team changed everything for our family. Through ABA therapy and speech services, Lucas has developed communication skills, reduced challenging behaviors, and is now thriving in a mainstream classroom with minimal support.
The therapists didn’t just work with Lucas—they partnered with our entire family, teaching us strategies to support him at home and in the community. They celebrated every milestone with us, no matter how small, and helped us see Lucas’s unique strengths.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our therapy services, insurance coverage, and more.
If you notice your child is not meeting developmental milestones, having difficulty with communication, struggling with daily activities, or showing behavioral challenges that impact their functioning, they may benefit from therapy. Our team can provide a comprehensive assessment to determine if therapy is recommended and which services would be most beneficial for your child’s specific needs.

During the initial evaluation, our specialist will assess your child’s current abilities and challenges through standardized assessments, observation, and parent interviews. We’ll discuss your concerns, review your child’s developmental and medical history, and identify strengths and areas needing support. Following the evaluation, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan with specific goals and recommendations for therapy services.

The duration of therapy varies based on your child’s individual needs, the type of therapy, and their progress toward goals. Some children benefit from short-term intervention (3-6 months), while others may need longer-term support. We regularly assess progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Our goal is to help your child develop the skills they need and transition out of therapy when appropriate.
Session frequency is determined by your child’s needs and the recommendations of their therapist. Typically, children attend therapy 1-3 times per week, with sessions lasting 30-60 minutes depending on the therapy type and your child’s age and attention span. Your therapist will recommend the optimal frequency to support your child’s progress while considering your family’s schedule.
Many insurance plans cover pediatric therapy services, but coverage varies by provider and plan. We work with numerous insurance companies and will verify your benefits before beginning services. Our billing specialists can help you understand your coverage, including any copays, deductibles, or visit limitations. For services not covered by insurance, we offer various payment options and can discuss financial assistance programs.
